On 22 and 23 June 2022, members of the PROTECT-HERITAGE consortium had a great day during the Provenence Vetting at TEFAF (The European Fine Art Fair), the biggest art fair on the world happening in Maastricht (24-30 June 2022).

The Dutch Art Crime unit carried out some tasks for PROTECT-HERITAGE by collecting all provenance information of the antiquities that came out of the MENA region. This data will be used for research and as study material for workshops and trainings that the consortium will implement later in the framework of the project to the benefit of Lebanese Law Enforcement Agencies.

PROTECT-HERITAGE is an Internal Security Fund project funded by DG HOME – European Commission.
