Protect Heritage

The «Project to support operations in Lebanon on Cultural Heritage – PROTECT-HERITAGE» is an EU-funded project contributing to fight against the illicit trafficking of cultural goods by strengthening inter-institutional cooperation between EU Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) and Lebanon LEAs.

The project will support and enhance the capacities of the Lebanese LEAs in their fight against illicit trafficking of cultural property through capacity building and use of new technological tools, which will ultimately prevent the introduction of stolen and looted cultural property coming from outside the EU into the EU customs territory.
